Avances y retos para desarrollar investigaciones comprometidas con la justicia educativa

Abstract

El documento examina los progresos que los investigadores educativos han realizado en la década reciente, partiendo de las recomendaciones que el Dr. Pablo Latapí hiciera en la memorable conferencia de 2007, en el IX Congreso Nacional de Investigación Educativa. Se reconoce la ampliación de los objetos y métodos de estudio, lo que ha favorecido el entendimiento del sistema educativo y sus problemas; la formación de redes que propician la discusión y la investigación con diferentes perspectivas; el surgimiento de temas como la educación intercultural, la evaluación educativa y la educación rural, entre otros logros. Asimismo, se identifican como dificultades la inserción de jóvenes investigadores debido a las limitadas condiciones de trabajo y la inclinación productivista que busca obtener recursos a toda costa. Finalmente, establece como retos significativos la necesidad de asumir una mirada crítica y decolonizadora, promover investigaciones referentes a los graves problemas sociales que padecen los sectores más desfavorecidos y diseñar metodologías colaborativas e innovadoras que favorezcan la creación de conocimiento en forma más horizontal y en diálogo con las comunidades.

This document examines the progress that educational researchers have made in the recent decade, based on the recommendations of Dr. Pablo Latapí at the memorable conference at the IX National Congress of Educational Research. Some main achievements in the educational research field has favored the understanding of the educational system and its problems; the formation of networks that foster discussion and research with different perspectives; the emergence of educational proposals such as intercultural education, educational evaluation and rural education, among other accomplishments. On the other hand, the difficulty for the insertion of young researchers due to the limited working conditions and the productive inclination that seeks to obtain resources at all costs are some of the main problems. Finally, the paper establishes as significant challenges the need to assume a critical and decolonizing perspective, promote research regarding the serious social problems suffered by the most disadvantaged sectors and design collaborative and innovative methodologies that favor the creation of knowledge in a more horizontal way and in dialogue with the communities.
